I have just recently started seeing Dr. Postlethwaite after my Rheumatologist retired. I am extremely pleased with him and his staff. They are so nice, supportive and caring. Dr. Postlethwaite is very laid back and spends plenty of time with you. Dr. Postlethwaite is really taking good care of me and will be seeing my daughter soon as she has just been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis as well. If you need a Rheumatologist you can’t go wrong with this practice.

How do you get an appt? No one ever answers the phone, responds to voicemails or Faxes? Are they still Open?

Dr. Postlethwaite is an excellent rheumatologist whom I highly recommend to patients with arthritis and autoimmune conditions, including lupus, sjogren's syndrome, and fibromyalgia. He is caring, thorough and takes the time to clearly explain the test results and treatment plans. The office is clean, well organized, and staffed by friendly professionals. An on-site laboratory allows for convenient completion of blood work immediately following appointments. I recently relocated to the Memphis area and feel fortunate that I found Dr. Postlethwaite as my rheumatologist.

I liked that he sat down and looked at my records. Ask question about things I would never have thought to tell him about. I would definitely recommend him.

The whole office is full of nice and friendly people. I have been on two visits and one virtual call and I was very pleased with how open the doctor was in talking with me, looking at me & talking to me like he really cared and wanted to help. My last doctor after giving me my original diagnosis seemed impatient and rushed to get me out of there. Many doctors seem to always be in a rush to get you in and out as soon as possible. I loved the human connection I had with the doctor.

The staff is not coronated at all!! My appointment time was 11:45 AM and I was not called to the back until 1:00PM. Then the nurse had an attitude because I was asking what was taking so long. Other patients came in after my time and went back and left before I even got to the back to be triaged! Once in the room I had to wait another 45 minutes before the doctor came in for him to only be in there 10 minutes! No recent labs were drawn and they should have to see what my status was and not go off of someone else’s lab draw that was over a month old!! Only to give me the medication I already take! This was a total waste of my time and day! I will never go back here again and do not recommend for anyone to go there!

Great doctor and staff

I have been seeing Dr. P for well over a year. Because I live so far away from his offices, he does most of my care through telehealth. I do get frequent labs drawn and sent to him and go to one of his offices at least once every six months. He takes the time to listen to updates related to my very complex medical issues and interprets test results that I do not understand. He is always patient and kind and answers all questions posed by me or my significant other. He makes necessary referrals to competent specialists. I have referred several friends to him and even shared his info with my disability attorney for some of her clients in need of a provider. Absolutely no complaints, will continue to recommend him to others.

Dr. Postlethwaite is wonderful. I’ve been diagnosed with Takayasu Arteritis an extremely rare autoimmune disease. He’s helping me with my condition. By doing everything possible to find a solution for my chronic pain. I’m grateful to have found him. I was diagnosed a year ago in February. The rheumatologist I was referred to when discharged from the hospital. Never answered or returned my phone calls. Nor was I ever scheduled for an appointment. Even after being referred to her from the Baptist East. I had so many questions about my autoimmune disease and so many fears as well. After months of being ignored from the rheumatologist I was referred to. I decided to find my own rheumatologist and cave across Dr. Postlethwaite. I called his office and he answered himself I told him what I was going through and he scheduled an appointment with me immediately. So very thankful for him. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a caring doctor he’s your man.

He asked me about the other doctors I have seen since the last visit, labs, etc. He also checks information from the dermatologist , so they can work together. So glad I found Dr Postlethwaite. He is awesome, kind, listens to patients and takes time with his patients. The ambience in his office was relaxing, clean and his staff were impeccable. Customer service in this office is top notch and impeccable.

All of my visits with Dr. Postlethwaite have been pleasant. He's a very patient and caring physician who goes out of his way to make things as convenient and comfortable as possible. He's a great listener and he takes the time to explain things in layman terms.

My appointment was at 9am but the staff didn’t even show up to open the doors until 9:15am, otherwise my visit was very thorough and the Dr. was very kind, attentive and patient

Very gentle manner took the. Time to explain what was happening. One thing, though. Prescription was for acid reflux. I don't have that. I need something for the pain. Other than that excellent visit, we'll recommend.

He has been the only Rheumatologist that has took the time to listen and understand what's going on in my body. He doesn't rush in and out of the room with the patient.
